Illinois medical licenses, other than residents, are up for renewal every three years, all at the same time. The next renewal cycle will end on July 31, 2011. Renewal processing is expected to begin three months prior to that deadline.
Be advised that due to judicial action in February 2010, the IL Department of Financial and Professional Regulation has deactivated the Physician Profile System. They are reviewing the program. The Licensee Look-up section remains in effect for licensing and disciplinary information.
