IOMS held its annual state lobby day, Osteopathic Physicians Day at the State Capitol, on March 30th. Issues covered included, among others:
- ensuring patient safety during home births,
- maintaining appropriate scope of practice for physicians and allied health professionals, and
- extending the IL Medical Practice Act beyond November 30, 2011.
